PROJECT BUSINESS ANALYSIS I

The lecture will cover how to proactively plan, incorporate critical components, and manage complexity using the BA framework. Techniques for eliciting and documenting requirements will also be introduced, along with prioritization and change management processes, ensuring that requirements are aligned with project objectives.

This lecture will focus on the "Organizational Needs Assessment" process, guiding participants through essential tools and methods for conducting a gap analysis. It will cover how to assess the current business environment, identify gaps in processes, and develop a comprehensive business case. The session will also highlight the use of context diagrams, cause-and-effect diagrams, and process maps to identify problem areas and solutions. Participants will learn how to create a needs assessment, perform a gap analysis, and propose actionable recommendations for improvement.
